About Our Community Founder, Cristina Muntean

Cristina Muntean is the founder and CEO of VORNICA®, a company on a mission to triple the number of women CEOs in Europe by 2030. The CEO Elevation Circle was born from this same mission, with the goal of uniting exceptional women leaders to support one another in addressing one of the greatest challenges of our time: gender inequality in top leadership.

Cristina was born in a small village in Transylvania, Romania, in 1981. She graduated with a degree in Journalism from the Faculty of Journalism and Mass Communication Studies at the University of Bucharest. In 2004, she relocated to Prague, Czechia, where she worked as a business journalist until 2010.

In 2010, Cristina left the media industry to start her own business. Initially focused on media training and crisis communications, she soon noticed the scarcity of women in the C-Suite among her corporate clients and how little media visibility they received. This realization sparked her drive to find a solution for increasing the visibility of women leaders in the public sphere.

In 2018, Cristina published her first book, I, the Brand – Personal Branding for Career Growth, in Czech, her fourth language. In October 2019, five months before the pandemic, she organized the first fully digital conference in Czechia—The Personal Branding Summit.

In 2022, Cristina made the decision to transition her business to a remote-first model, repositioning it to serve women leaders and organizations across Europe. This led to the birth of VORNICA®. A year later, in March 2023, The CEO Elevation Circle came to life.

Now at the helm of a dynamic business ecosystem, Cristina is a relentless innovator committed to social justice and equality in top leadership. Her mission to triple the number of women CEOs in Europe is a legacy mission driven by the deep belief that when wise women lead, we all thrive and prosper for the long term.

Here are the questions we regularly most often from our guests.

  • When and where does The Future of Work for Women conference take place?

    The conference will be held from Wednesday, August 27, to Sunday, August 31, 2025, in Prague, Czechia.

  • Why is the conference taking place in summer?

    We chose the end of summer for our conference because it’s the sweet spot between the relaxed days of August and the busy return to work in September. Late August in Prague offers beautiful weather, and we hope to enjoy a wonderful time together.

  • Does the conference price include accommodation?

    No. The all-inclusive conference pass includes access to the full program, coffee breaks, networking lunches, and dinners. Travel to Prague, accommodation, and informal community activities are not included in the price.

  • Where should I look for accommodation in Prague?

    We have partnered with Holiday Inn, a wonderful hotel located right next to the Prague Congress Center, to offer a significant discount for attendees. If the Holiday Inn isn’t suitable for you, feel free to explore other accommodation options in the vicinity.

  • How accessible is the conference location?

    The Prague Congress Center is very accessible, located just 40 minutes from the Prague airport by public transport or taxi. It sits on the metro line C at Vyšehrad station. The red metro line C runs frequently, even during the summer.

  • Will I have access to Wi-Fi during the conference?

    Your all-inclusive conference pass includes basic Wi-Fi access. If you require more data for conference calls or other needs, we recommend using your own mobile data or purchasing additional data from the conference center.

  • Can I park my car?

    Yes, parking is available at the Prague Congress Center. The daily parking fee is XXX.

  • Do I need to stay in Prague if I’m traveling from another city in Czechia?

    Provided that you intend to attend our whole event, we highly recommend securing accommodation in Prague to ensure you don’t miss any of the activities we’ve planned.

  • What happens if I can’t attend?

    If you request a refund 90 days or more before the conference, you’ll receive a full refund. For refund requests made between 30 and 90 days prior, you’ll receive a 50% refund. No refunds will be issued for cancellations made less than 30 days before the event.

  • Is this conference only for members of The CEO Elevation Circle?

    No. The conference is open to members of The CEO Elevation Circle as well as our extended communities and friends. Feel free to invite other women leaders to join us at this unique event
